The EIM 2026 International Conference will be held from October 23 to 25, 2026, at Changsha University of Science and Technology (Changsha, Hunan, China). The conference theme is "The Policy Responses to AI-Driven Biodiversity, Innovation and Comprehensive Development." It aims to bring together global scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and doctoral researchers to explore how AI is reshaping economies, environmental governance, and social development, and how governments, firms, and societies can formulate inclusive, resilient, and sustainable policy responses.

Guidelines
Submission: Authors are invited to submit original research papers that have not been formally published. Both full papers (strongly encouraged) and extended abstracts may be considered. Submissions should include: title, author name(s), affiliation(s) and contact information, abstract, keywords, main text or extended abstract, and references.
Language Requirement: All submissions and presentations must be in English.

Submission deadline: October 9, 2026
Notification of acceptance: October 16, 2026
Conference dates:
October 23–25, 2026
Registration on October 23, 2026;
Formal conference from October 24 to 25, 2026.
Conference Format
Each accepted paper will be assigned a discussant. The standard format for each paper session is: 20 minutes for paper presentation, 6 minutes for discussant comments, 4 minute for author response, followed by general discussion and Q&A.
Publication Opportunity
Selected high-quality papers may be considered for further development and potential submission to Environment, Innovation and Management, Asia & the Pacific Policy Studies, Economic Analysis and Policy subject to the journal's normal peer-review procedures and editorial policies.
